I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan but I lived in Pondicherry, India for a few years as a child and in Vancouver for 17 years before moving to the Comox Valley. I currently live in Cumberland, BC.
I am an Instructor and Program Coordinator for DIGITAL Design + Development.
I got into this area of study because it’s exciting – there are always new things to learn, new developments in the field and new ways of doing things. I like teaching digital design + development because I enjoy seeing students make cool things and get good jobs after graduation.
This year, my goal is to successfully move my courses into an online format, to propose a new Post-Degree Diploma to our Education Council, to advance the professional development I am currently working on (UX Design, digital marketing analytics) and to start coding my ‘audio map of Cumberland’ website. My long term goals are to keep loving my job as an instructor, build a portfolio of cool coding experiments, and read more books.
